Sandra Backlund; My absolute favorite sweater designer. Starting her career knitting everything by hand in her studio, piece-by-piece, her Spring/Summer 2010 collection is the first to go into production. Originally composed entirely of knitwear, her S/S and Fall 10 collections incorporate some wovens as well. Partnering with a top knitting factory in Italy, her creative potential is endless. I can't wait for this to get to NY!
